Christian Jones has a hybrid background of computer science,
engineering, psychology and sociology and was a lecturer at
Heriot-Watt University until becoming CEO, and then CTO of Affective Media
Ltd. He has experience of research-led project development,
technology commercialisation, investment and management. As
a developer of talking-head animation systems, he has worked
with a wide range of speech-enabled technologies, including
video compression, immersive VR, entertainment, interactive
Internet and digital TV.
